In our business, ideas don’t happen without sparks. They make the creative juices flow, and they are everywhere. We find them by seeing, listening, reading and doing.

Sparks can be either radical or sublime. We get sparks from a passage in a book or the architecture around Kansas City. We find them in sculpture and poetry, movies and music, novels and paintings, urban sounds and country landscapes, in conversation and silence, in deep thought and when we’re not even thinking at all…
